73096 with "The Cathedrals Express"

storming towards Saunderton summit in the morning.

The train has already passed the original summit which was on the up line, seen at left in the picture below, when it was the only line and was at the top of what was known as Saunderton bank. When the line was doubled the new, down, line followed a different profile and after a level stretch for a mile climbed again at 1/164 for a further 0.4 of a mile to a new summit which I have called Saunderton summit but may in fact have another name. The following 4 pictures were taken from a mini digital video camera.

The first 3 pictures show the train on the short level section where the up line (on the left) descends towards Princes Risborough. The last picture shows the train starting the climb at 1/164 up to the summit of the down line a little under mile further north.
